She was a Leon Levy fellow in the Center for the History of Collecting at the Frick Collection and is working on a book project entitled "Discerning Languages for Exotic: Collecting Asian Art."  Kyunghee's forthcoming book, "Fashion, Identity, Power in Modern Asia" focuses on modernized dress in the early 20th-century Asia and will be published by the Palgrave Macmillan in later this year.

As an independent curator, Kyunghee has collaborated with Asian American artists in New York since 2013. Jong Sook Kang is a contemporary artist of ceramics living and teaching in New Jersey. She has obtained both traditional and creative techniques of ceramics.  Her subject matters include florid and spectacular cityscapes.  Famous for her apple-shaped ceramic installations, Kang borrows the images of ‘apple’ to express her intangible, lyric inner senses.  The apple, symbol of exuberance and abundance is a metaphor of love, frequently being an association of the voluptuous female body.  In addition, Kang also endeavors to capture the life of New York, particularly her experience of living in Manhattan.

Kang received BFA and MFA in ceramics from Seoul National University of Technology in South Korea. In the US she studied at Alfred University in upstate New York and acquired an MA from the department of ceramic arts at Montclair State University in New Jersey.

Lydia Lee is a Korean floral designer who came to New York to receive her MBA degree in marketing.  While exploring her career in marketing, she partnered up with the design team from Floralia in the Waldorf Astoria hotel.  Floral design has long been her hobby and she has trained in both Asian and European floral designs. Lydia eventually served as the marketing director and one of the main floral designers at Takashimaya Floral Boutique.  She has designed for the UN General Assembly functions, Park Avenue Armory, world famous hotels and restaurants, and celebrities including Martha Stewart, Sarah Jessica Parker, Janet Jackson and more. She is now working as a freelancer and a party planner.  Furthermore, she actively participates as a gala committee and volunteers for several art affiliated organizations.
